The Inter-American Water Resources Network (IWRN) will hold its Annual Board Meeting in San Jose, Costa Rica, on May 6-8, 2010.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has kindly offered to host this meeting in its facilities in San Jose.

Board Members and guests will discuss IWRN partnership opportunities, upcoming activities, including the role of IWRN in the upcoming regional process leading to the next World Water Forum, to be held in Marseilles, France, in March 2012.

This meeting is an important milestone in the new phase of IWRN, in which several improvements in the Network governance and activities will carry on. IWRN is opening up even more to democratize participation in collaborative initiatives using information and knowledge exchange systems to assist practitioners in improving water management practices and influencing sustainable public policies for water resources and land management in the Americas.
